Fundraising Christmas Events in December

Announcing our two Fund-Raising Christmas Events

With the Pugin Place Appeal Fund now close to £51,000 the Buildings and Fund-Raising Committee are holding two further events on the 1st December. This is an ambitious plan where we hope to raise our fund-raising balance to near £60,000. As usual we need your support to make these events the success they were last year.

Children’s Christmas Party – 1st December begins 12.00pm – 5.00pm

This will have a new mystery attraction which we think will surprise and delight everyone who comes. Annabel and her team are now preparing for the event with an array of wonderful food, drinks, games and prizes. For parents it will again be an opportunity to have an afternoon off whilst the children are entertained.

Christmas Concert - 1st December 7.00pm – 10.00pm We have commissioned a special concert from Ronnie Kong an Australian musician who is flying to this country on Friday, especially to lead this event. It will be held in the church and is expected to be our major launch event for the Pugin Place Appeal. Eustace and his team, together with the choir are coordinating a complex plan involving an ambitious project which we hope will delight those who attend - and realise a substantial sum for our fund-raising efforts in getting Pugin Place back into full function with its historic features preserved and protected.

Ticket Sales Because both events will be on the same day tickets will go on sale from next weekend and this will coincide with the 175th anniversary celebration of the church opening. Ticket prices will be £10 per person. Further announcements will be made providing you with updates on our progress in these ambitious plans.
